How to install a theme

  1. Download the theme's zip. Don't unzip it.
  2. In your fastCMS admin, open Themes and click Upload theme.
  3. Choose the zip. The theme appears next to the others.
  4. Click Preview & customize, then Activate when you're happy.

About fonts

Most downloadable themes use their own fonts, loaded from Google Fonts. Prefer everything served from your own site? Set the theme's Fonts option to My fonts from Settings → Appearance for self-hosted fonts in one click. Lens uses your visitors' own system font, so nothing extra loads.

Themes are plain PHP templates with a small theme.json for their options. Start from Starter: a clean, working theme where every file is short and commented. Anything you don't change uses the Classic theme's templates, so it works from the first upload.
