Blog settings in fastCMS

1Featured Blogs
  • Check yes to show featured blog posts on home page.
  • Choose the amount of featured blog posts to show.
  • Decide on the featured blog post badge overlay text.
2Latest Blogs
  • Check yes to show latest blog posts on home page.
  • Choose how to display latest blog posts, as images or as text links.
  • Choose the amount of latest blog posts to show.
  • Decide on the latest blog post badge overlay text.
3Category Page
  • Choose the amount of blog posts to show, in each category, on the blog categories page.
4Blog Info
  • Check yes to show the blog post author, category and publish date at the top of each blog post page.
5Archives Count
  • Choose the amount of blog posts to show, on the blog archives page.
6Search Count
  • Choose the amount of blog post search results to show.

  • Check yes to ask a custom random security question when a web site visitor registers and also when the contact form is used.
2Secure Password
  • Choose if you would like the script to auto generate readable, very secure, passwords on the user registration form

General settings in fastCMS

fastCMS page settings
1Site Name
  • Enter the name of your web site.(this will be shown on the front page of your website & in the meta title tag)
2Description & Tag Line
  • Enter a description for your website.(this will be used in the meta description tag)
  • Enter a tag line for your website.(this will be shown on the front page of your website)
3Email Settings
  • Enter an email address for your website.(this will be used for all communication)
  • Enter your mail SMTP host.(for example: server.example.com)
  • Enter your mail username.(for example: email@example.com)
  • Enter your mail password.
  • Enter your mail SMTP host.(for example: 25)
  • These details are available from your server cPanel.
4Social Media
  • Click yes to show your social media links in your website footer
  • Enter links to all of your social media accounts.
  • Leave inputs empty and that social media icon will not be shown.
5Company Address
  • Enter your company address & telephone number in this section.
6Date & Time Format
  • Choose your preferred date format from the drop down list (anywhere the date is shown on your website will adopt this format).
  • Choose your preferred time format from the drop down list (anywhere the time is shown on your website will adopt this format).
7Website Analytics
  • Use this text area to input any analytics or extra website code that you need added to your website. For example: Google analytics code or Adsense code could go here.

Theme settings in fastCMS

1Font Styles
  • Select your preferred font family from the drop down list. All Google fonts are available, however some will slow performance sppeds.
  • Choose preferred base font size.
  • Choose preferred font line height.
  • Decide on the font weight for all headers, lighter, normal, bold or bolder.
2Theme
  • Choose a theme, to use for your web site, from the available themes drop down menu.

Users settings in fastCMS

fastCMS users settings
1User Registrations
  • Choose if you want to allow web site visitors to be able to register on your web site.
  • When new users register, would you like an email sent to the website administrator to inform them of a new registration?.
2Posts Per Page
  • The latest blog posts published by each user are displayed on that users profile page. The results are paginated, decide how many blogs are shown per page.
